The Nightwave weekly bounties change every Sunday at 12 midnight GMT (or Monday morning, if that’s your preference), so keep your eyes out every week after that time for our weekly update – letting you know the activities you’ll need to complete for the week (note this will not include daily challenges, of course).
Special Note: We have an interview with Nora Night (aka Sheryl Mebane) dropping this Thursday on the podcast – keep an eye out)!
This Week's Bounties
The following challenges are in place until Midnight Sunday 7 April/Monday 8 April:
- Complete 3 Assassination missions
- Find all caches in 3 Sabotage missions
- Complete 8 Bounties on the Plains of Eidolon
- Kill 500 Enemies
- Complete 3 Spy missions
- Complete 3 Mobile Defence missions
- Unlock 4 Orokin Vaults
- Complete 4 Halls of Ascension on Lua (Elite)
- Complete 3 rounds of Elite Sanctuary Onslaught (Elite)
- Complete 10 Nightmare missions (Elite)
Complete 3 Assassination missions: Easy, but will take time. Keep in mind that this is a good opportunity to farm a boss for a specific drop. If you don’t need to farm anything, just choose an easy boss and smash it out. OR! Go for a Phorid Invasion – that also counts as an Assassination. Probably the most flexible challenge.
Find all Caches in 3 Sabotage missions: This isn’t a difficult challenge, but it’s definitely time consuming. Sometimes you just can’t find those damned caches. I wouldn’t recommend trying to double up with “Kill XX enemies” challenges as you just want to look for caches, but you can possibly knock these out at the same time as doing other related missions. You could always double up on the “Silver Grove” challenge by choosing the Earth Sabotage mission as well.
Complete 8 Bounties on the Plains of Eidolon: Now that there are camps on the Plains, this will be much easier. You can either jump in and just smash out 8 in a row, or do a few here and there across several days. Not hard, but time consuming, as usual. Good chance to farm for anything you are missing from the Plains.
Kill 500 Enemies: Super easy, because it can be done passively! Don’t focus on this at all – it should just happen. If not, choose a high-level Exterminate and you should knock this out quickly.
Complete 3 Spy Missions: Again, an easy one, and again, one that you might be able to double up on with Invasion missions (if you’re lucky). This will work for ANY Spy mission, so keep an eye on the Sortie as well, because that might tick off one of these if you also need to do a Sortie challenge.
Complete 3 Mobile Defense Missions: Again, an easy one, and definitely one that can be doubled up with Invasion challenges (as Mobile Defence missions are often offered as Invasion mission types). Can also be combined with Dailies, depending on what they are, so consider them before jumping in.
Complete 4 Orokin Vaults: This is accessible to lower rank players (you’ll need to grab the Dragon Keys from the Orokin Lab in your dojo and the Derelict Keys from the Market), but they may struggle. Recomend lower players to go in with friends/clannies. Still, this can also be solo’d by higher level players, and is a great opportunity to collect some rare (and highly tradeable) mods.
Complete 4 Halls of Ascension on Lua (Elite): You need to have unlocked Lua to have access to this (by completing The Second Dream). There are 7 different challenge rooms that appear at random on Lua maps. People tend to have their favourites, but I like the Crossfire Exterminate, myself. Keep in mind that the musical challenge (that awards an Octavia blueprint) does NOT count towards this.
Complete 3 rounds of Elite Sanctuary Onslaught (Elite): There are some great rewards to be gained from ESO – including Radiant Relics, and the Braton and Lato Vandal variants, but lower level players are likely to struggle. Note, though, that this is a great place to also farm focus, and you can also knock out a bunch of kills, including Eximus enemies.
Complete 10 Nightmare missions of any type: This one isn’t too hard – just a little tedious. Depending on how well equipped you are, it shouldn’t be difficult, but you possibly want to be careful to double dip on things if you are struggling. Still – you need to do 10 of these, so you might be able to double dip by also knocking out any “Do X number of XXX mission type” missions.
